They did Roman dirty. I liked how in Fast 2 he was introduced as serious but now he is just comic relief. I first saw him in the transformers film when I was a kid where he was serious and I only saw the fast franchise much later. So yeah I feel like they made him comic relief overshadowed by Tej.
