iCloud Feeds vs. third-party service?
I’ve been happily using Reeder for about a decade, using Feedly as my third-party feed service. I don’t have any problem with Feedly but am curious to know what the pros/cons of using iCloud Feeds would be.
From what I’ve gathered, using iCloud Feeds may offer some performance/sync improvements and better privacy. I have no idea what the downsides would be—perhaps a trickier time migrating if I ever moved off of Reeder? I don’t use any of Feedly’s paid options and the only time I use their web UI is to occasionally add new feeds.
Any thoughts/insights? If it’s helpful context, the way I use Reeder may be slightly unconventional: I subscribe to only a few dozen feeds, treat unread like inbox zero, star things I want to read, and un-star them once I’ve read them.
