Cannot enter state to verify identity

I’m trying to verify my identity in the app, I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro and iOS 17.1.2, every time I try to select my state the app bugs out and the screen slides to the side making it impossible to enter anything. This is really frustrating and I’ve tried reaching out to support, who have said absolutely nothing and have been of completely no help.
