Lars and the Real Girl (2007)

Lars (Ryan Gosling) a very socially akward quiet guy forms a relationship, maybe his first ever, with a sex doll he buys online.

His brother and his wife and the whole town are shocked by it and thinks he belongs in a hospital but the relationship brings him out of his shell so everyone goes along with it.

It's a quirky weird comedy/drama.

A pudgy Gosling is always fun.
