Bedroom to living room

Soon I’ll be renovating my side of my mom’s house to add my own living room and kitchen. When I first moved back to my moms I redecorated my childhood room and bath to match my current style and give it a more adult vibe and I put a lot of work and time into it. Once I add the addition, I’ll be turning my current bedroom into the living room. I’m not sure if I should start fresh and redo it all to match the new addition or keep somethings about it. I consider my style modern boho chic 🤷🏾‍♀️😅 and I love it. I want my couch to be either yellow, burnt orange or green.
