What keeps you from going to the gym?
I primarily work with other gay men who want to get in shape for the first time, and I’ve noticed they usually fall into two groups:
1- Those who believe they can change and take action.
2- Those who want to change but feel paralyzed by fear.
I totally understand both mindsets, I've had both as well, but I’d love to hear from others.
If you really want to make a change, what’s holding you back? What makes that first step feel so impossible? If you took that first step but backed out, why?
And if you have made the leap, what was the turning point for you? What finally pushed you to take action and stick with it?
I’m genuinely curious to understand these fears better!
