Unpopular opinion about Halo

Anyone else find her "labels" annoying. There's no point in wearing a hijab if she's not muslim, and her saying "It feels right" makes no sense either. No one wears a hijab for no particular reason, and if it "felt right" she wouldn't have kissed Brion or Harper. Another thing is she's gender neutral and bisexual now? I just feel like they took one character and inserted every type of trendy minority and inserted into her without any research.
