This game is ridiculously expensive

So, I was planning to ask for Yo-kai Watch 3 for my birthday which is on the 15th, but it looks like I won't be able to get it because the prices are unbelievably high. I was only able to find it for hundreds of dollars, 499 dollars AU at a minimum. Is it because this game was only localised after the Switch launch?
