Yakuza 4 (Steam) - Endless Loading Screen

Im in chapter 1 with Akiyama and everytime I go back to the hideout to save Hama from the Ueno gang, the minute I get to the objective the game gets stuck in an endless loading screen.

Currently playing on Steam Deck, uninstalled all mods and am playing Vanilla.

Ive tried so many options to no avail and am currently bummed I cant get it to work. Especially because I just finished Y3 and want to keep going.
