How do you respond to the naysayers that cringe at your non-ergonomic writer deck?

So I'm in the process of setting up a raspberry pi writer deck. Since I couldn't get a Rpi 4 from a trusted seller, I've resorted to using a Raspberry pi 400 + a 7.9" waveshare & powerbank for now. Eventually, I'd like to create a deck that can make use of my 40% Planck EZ keyboard.

Here's the problem. This now-standard cyberdeck/writer deck set up, with or without a 40% keyboard, makes everyone around me cringe sooooo hard.

Bad for your neck! Bad for your wrists! Bad for your chests! Why would you do this to yourself?

Well... I set up a system that automatically boots up a full-screen terminal to free write in nano & in Wordgrinder. The results are automatically integrated into a master markdown file via a python script, and synced automatically via Syncthing to my Obsidian vault elsewhere.

The idea is just to freely type 20 mins at a time, without really checking or editing what I'm typing. The screen is there only as a peripheral guide. I had the hope that this won't be that ergonomically bad, esp with my ortholinear and remapped Planck... but yeah, this set up sparks no joy in the people around me.

How do you think of your writer deck and ergonomics?
