Self found STA/INT/SPIRIT paladin

I'm currently leveling my first HC character and chose a paladin, mainly because I've been pretty much horde only so far. I really like the idea of the sta/int or sta/spirit paladin and the flexibility it brings.

However I'm wondering whether the build actually works as a self-found character. Everything I read talks about buying the gear from the AH and at lvl 20 I'm wondering if it is even possible to gear for this playstyle.. Every mail quest reward and drop seems to be str based.

If anyone has experience in running a self-found sta/spirit/int paladin I'd really appreciate some input on the viability - and whether you found it enjoyable.

TL;DR: Is there enough STA/INT/SPIRIT gear from quests / dungeons to support this playstyle as a self-found character?
