Electric Wok vs Gas Burner vs Wok on Electric stove

Hello - I’m sorry if this question has been asked before. I have been practicing my Chinese food recipes as my partner (from Beijing) and I live in an area where you can’t get good Asian food if you don’t make it. I’ve been wanting to get into cooking with a wok but we have an electric stove top.

Wondering if anyone has experience or suggestions with the electric woks you can buy? My other thought was to just pick up a single gas burner to use when I cook on a wok…or potentially using an electric stove is totally fine?
