Please help me with online issues!!

I’m at a loss and I’m hoping someone here can help me before I go absolutely bonkers.

I recently got a digital copy on my Nintendo Switch and, no matter what I do, I get this error every time I try and open the online play tab. I have an active Nintendo Online account, I’ve closed and reopened, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, and I’ve changed my password on my Nintendo account which prompted me to re login on my switch. (If I understand correctly, I can’t unlink/logout of my Nintendo account on my switch without deleting the whole thing?)

I don’t know what else to try. So if anyone has some tips then please, please let me know!! I just wanna play with my family that live in a different state :c
