Reset network settings alternative

iPhone 15.

I have Verizon eSIM. I do not have international plan. I received a call from an international number and returned the call inadvertently. It was a short call but to my surprise, the call connected and I got a text message from Verizon about international call charges.

Reached out to Verizon chat. They confirmed that due to some system issues the international call went through instead of being blocked. They corrected the issue.

To test it, I called an international number I know is invalid. I received a message in the foreign country language about the number not being in service which means that the Verizon did connect the call.

Went back to Verizon chat. Rebooted phone, turned on/off airplane mode, disabled and enabled the Verizon eSIM. Nothing worked.

They said that the only way to pickup the change in plan is to reset all network settings on iPhone. This is too disruptive since it will clear all my saved WiFi and Bluetooth connections.

Is there any other option?

Thanks
