should i take a drop to peruse design?

Pretty much what the caption says. I gave mains 1st attempt but just got 68%ile. Id try for mains attempt 2, bits etc but i don’t think i’d get any good college. Should i take a drop and peruse design? if yes, how do i go about it? what exams should i give? should i join some institute for it? if not, how do i study for it? upvote for more reach please lol
