New cleanser questions- washing face in the morning?

Hey y’all, i had a dermatologist checkup for 7th month on tretinoin .05%. When she asked me what I was using to wash my face in the morning I said water, and she recommended I get a moisturizing face wash for the mornings after I use tret. I purchased la roche posay hydrating toleraine cleanser. I’m just wondering, does anyone use face wash in the morning after tret? Will a new face wash break me out? Just so many questions lol.
