Risen Sternguard Veterans (c&c appreciated)
Just finished some Sternguard in Risen colors.
My personal lore for putting them in the Fifth Battle Company instead of the Deathwing:
After the disaster at Wyrmwood, much of the Land Speeder fleet was disbanded and portions of the Ravenwing reassigned as Company Veterans among the battle companies. Veteran sergeants of the Fifth Company have noted the surprising amount of older armor marks, alongside strange heraldry and dark plate, used by the former Ravenwing pilots. Chapter serfs assigned to maintain this armor have disappeared after remarking on the age of the arms and dissimilarities with regular Ravenwing Mark VI. The new Sternguard Veterans show the same zeal for seeking out mission targets that has always been a hallmark of the Ravenwing, however.
Anyone else got some new headcanon for their Unforgiven?
