Optimism for the future

I feel so sad that many people’s optimism for the future has completely faded. When I listen to loving someone I just cry because it’s so beautiful and full of care and love for humanity and it feels so optimistic. I was watching conclave today and at the end I started crying and I realized I had the same feeling watching that as I did listening to this song. I just hope that art can change the world in even a minuscule way, change the future. With everything going on all around the world in regard to the constant devaluation of humanity from the richest people in the world, I just want everyone to be able to feel that hope again, which feels impossible currently. I know it’s awful and desolate but at least in art we can find some kind of solace. I really just wanted to share this because I’ve been feeling like the world is crushing me and I’m scared, but I saw a glimmer of something watching that movie today, and it reminded me of loving someone, and the 1975. So thank you Matty, George, Adam, and Ross for making that song and sending some light out into the world.( I know this sounds stupid, but I feel so strongly today; I thought I might as well put it out there🙂)
