Anxiety about Half Sleeve Choices
Hi all, 21F started getting American trad tattoos in August of last year. Have always wanted to get tattoos and finally made the decision to start. Went for another piece this past Saturday (the scorpion) and since then, things haven’t been feeling right. Tat looks great and is healing well already. I know some tattoo regret is normal, especially right after a new tattoo. However I am questioning getting any tattoos in the first place and have been spending the past 24 hours researching laser, etc (which is $$ and takes YEARS on colorful trad tattoos). Has anyone experienced this sort of anxiety and how do you get over yourself? How did you “learn to love” a piece you were unsure about, or did you just eventually forget it is there?
I’m hoping that in a few weeks and months once the new guy settles I’ll relax and love my tattoos again, but I feel like I made a huge mistake getting started and am not prepared to look like this forever. Making these large appearance changes can be so scary. Safe to say it’ll be a while if I ever get a new tattoo
