So I've come to learn steel plates are bad.. And ceramic is better. I'm only attracted to steel because it can take multiple shots. Not excited about the shrapnel in my neck amd shoulder. And with thst being said are ceramic plates really like a 4 shot deal? How many shots can a level 3 or 4 ceramic plate take? I only worry about this because of semi auto weapons. Multiple shots to an already compromised ceramic plate would be dangerous. But so would having metal lodged in your neck. I wouldn't be so concerned if it was just me but as someone who plans for a faimly. And children. I don't have enough info on the different plate types but I did get good info about plate sizing.
