Need a book recommendation that would light up a passion for book reading

It's been a while since I read the book but I want to get back on track. I struggle with picking the one that would be interesting to me but I also wouldn't get scared by its size since it's going to be my first book after 5 years or something. So I want to take small steps preferably but if you have something in mind that would definitely be interesting but it's a long one, it's fine too.

I mostly like detectives or something psychological.
