Lack of common courtesy

I was walking onto a public bus and tripped and fell in the aisle in front of about 20 people. I was so mortified and humiliated but quickly just got up, brushed myself off, and sat down in an empty seat. Not a single person acknowledged, helped, or asked me if I was ok despite falling down directly in front of them. They just stared blankly and continued looking at their phones. Pro tip: if someone might potentially be hurt or injured, ask them if they’re ok!
