Struggling with my discs

I just recently found all my skylanders and I really wanted to play through swap force again and I ordered a Wii U disc on eBay bc I only had the wii version.

After I got the disc I was only able to play through the first level perfectly fine up until the second level where the disc would be marked dirty.

After trying everything I could I got a refund and ordered a new disc and the new one just gets a tiny bit further than the first one.

I throughly cleaned both discs is there a problem with my Wii U, my data, or am I just getting unlucky?
