Holiday with 5 year old - tips?

Hi all,

Travelling to shanghai next year with a 5 year old. Just looking for suggestions on my current plan and where to stay.

Thinking of the following Activites for the little one:

1. Disneyland (going on a weekday)
2. Shanghai Wild Animal Park - is this an ethical zoo? If so，roughly how far is it from downtown? Google seems to suggest 35 minute drive.
3. Lego Discovery Centre
4. Joypolis - has this closed permanently?
5. Night river cruise
6. Science Museum

Based on searching, thinking of staying in the Jing An area - perhaps Hilton, Pullman or Kunlun. Happy to hear any suggestions.
