Should I tell my favourite teacher???

Should I tell my favourite college teacher about my self harm she is really nice to me and I really want to tell her idk why. But like I don’t want any support or like help so would be be wrong to tell her? Is it selfish of me to want to tell her it probably would stress her the fuck out or something idk I need advice
