Review: Upgraded from S22 base 128gb to S25 ultra 512gb
As someone who always prefered smaller phones due to its comfortness, i had been using s22 base for 3 years. Being from asia i had exynos version battery became very poor, so wanted to switch to a phone with bigger battery leaving out my need for smaller size.
After using one ui for 3 years I am telling you there is no going back. It brought back the glory days of android 2.3, 4.4 era and cyongen mod. I really love the customisation and samsung ai features that i use is it a lot in my actual daily life and it is defenitely on a gimmick. So with no options i had only s25 ultra as an option, i was really skeptical that most of the reviews were bashing out for no real upgrade this year.
One thing i noticed was all the reviews considered everyone in the world had s24 ultra and how they would feel when they get 25. So there were really no reviews for person like me who is doing the jump. Then i took a decision and pre ordered the phone.
In india it is 130k inr for 512 gb(pre order offer). On top with card offer and exchanged my s22 i got it for 92K with a local dealer which i think is a good deal.
Now coming to the main reason battery I get 2 days charge with s25 ultra.
Monday morning 9am charged to 100%. 2 days office, Tuesday eve 8pm 10% left, with 7hrs screen on time. Usage was insta, reddit, youtube, web browsing
Once to test battery i did a power use 85% used in 19hrs with 10hrs sot insta, lot of hotstar live stream, and web browsing. So i might get a 12hrs sot at max and average 8hrs with lot of standby
I am really happy with my choice, this phone feels like an upgrade in every aspect. The most important thing is display OMG that anti refliction screen is on whole different league, my wife has iphone 16 plus and on comparison it looks like a mid range 30k mobile. My friend has a s23 ultra it is a very good jump even compared to it.
Next thing speakers it is amazing and equivalent to a good budget portable speaker, had to dial down notification volume because it too loud and btw also crisp.
These are the things i noticed as a big improvement coming from s22, camera i dont use much but defenitely much better than iphone 16 plus. So i would defenitely recommend it for some one coming from non flagship
