Starved rescue tries to eat everything

Hi, I rescued two 6 year old sisters 3 months ago. One was overweight when I first got her, and the other was so thin. I could feel all her bones, it made me really sad to see. She’s a beautiful healthy weight now but I think being starved for so long has really damaged her. I have to make sure everything is on top of a tall table or else she tries to eat it, she’s tried to eat coal from the fireplace, nicotine tablets, a bottle of foundation, etc. She always has kibbles out for her to eat, but she still tries to have inedible things. I thought maybe she just wanted to chew so I got her chew toys, but she tried to eat them too.

She’s been abused and is very sensitive, she gets so scared and will cower if I talk to her in a stern voice, but doesn’t understand when I take things off of her and gently tell her no. I’m not sure how to train this out of her :/ does anybody know what I could do? I’m scared that I’ll forget to put something up a height one day and she’ll hurt herself trying to eat it
