Have any of you actually encountered a *good* recruiter?

My specific niche used to mean I would get an enormous amount of attention from recruiters and the vast majority of them were kind of scummy and pushy since they were just trying to get their commission by placing somebody with a pulse. I've gotten four positions via recruiters and the only one who I actually enjoyed working with was the most recent one; she listened to me when I told her what kind of companies I didn't want to work for, wasn't overly pushy with getting me on the phone, and was generally just a pleasant person to talk to.

Ultimately it's not hugely important how the recruiter behaves if you end up with a job, but I'm starting a job hunt (sr devops engineer) and I'm torn between reaching out to old recruiters who I didn't necessarily enjoy working with or just trying to find a job board that focuses on remote positions.
