Animals and PTSD

This may sound weird as heck, but does anyone else feel like they’ve become animal magnets after the ptsd started?

I don’t know if it’s because they can sense my emotional state or what, but I’ve had more than a few occasions where I’ve been on the brink of a meltdown and cats, dogs, pets in general just stay glued to me.
