Vitamin/mineral deficiencies
Hey im looking for some advice or insight in regards to overall wellness as a poverty girly. so I'm 25f. Growing up my family was poverty stricken. My diet was as follows: I was always hungry for school breakfast. I ate all meals I was offered there, went home to some sort of snack like spaghettios/macaroni beef. Then had a home cooked meal which was typically some sort of meat, mash potatoes, and canned vegetable. Then a before bed time snack like cereal or doritoz. This was how it was until I turned 16 and could start working and would get a little bit of a healthier meal on the weekend for myself like panera or a starbucks tomato mozz sandwich and a coffee. When I furthered my education after high school I got to eat at a dining hall and would typically hVe a breakfast like hard boiled egg, cottage cheese, protein shake and then some sort of entree with salad for lunch and dinner. Supplements wise: as an adolscent my mom would occasionally buy the Flintstones gummies and I would take those for 3 or 4 days and then they would end up expiring until I asked and tried again for the next bottle.
Today I'm eating at a 500cal deficit to help get to my goal weight and hopefully overall better my life. Im also drinking meal replacement shakes that seem to be really nutritious as well as a multi/immunity vitamin. My question for you if you've read this far is do you think that if I stay up on these supplements and fixing my relationship with food and calories, that I have a pretty good chance of healing myself in about 10 years to still be able to have a child? What are your experiences with your diet/wellness and having children while in poverty?
Im ultimately really concerned that I didn't get enough nutrition as a kid and I won't have optimal conditions to conceive or feel the desire to commit to someone long term. You don't have to be a doctor or anything to answer, I will probably go that route too, but hearing from someone's POV that's in the same tax bracket as me could mean alot.
Im attaching the two supplements I've been taking in tandem with each other. They are both loaded with nearly all the vitamins they consider essential at a high percent DV.
Also if you have any other supplements you take that help I would really appreciate that too. I'm trying to get a regiment together to fix my life for whatever it could be worth.
Thanks again and best
