Should I run my pump 24x7

I manage a 60000 gallon pool for my HOA. I’m the board president and one week before we were scheduled to open our pool company (of 15 years) informed me that they are no longer servicing our area of town anymore. So I’ve had to learn to do everything and learn it fast. My levels are usually pretty good so I’m not too concerned. I do wonder how long I should not running my pump. AFAIK the old company used to leave it running all the time, but I’m not sure if that’s overkill. The pool gets moderate usage during the week, 10-20 bathers per day. If the weekend gets hot it can get very busy 100-130 bathers per day. We have two Pentair Triton II sand filters. Should my pump be running 24x7 or should I give it a break?
