Glitch or Did they remove pfp?

Logged in today and noticed that my profile picture was gone. It wasn’t anything inappropriate it was just a selfie like many others have. So I looked at my friends who I knew also had pics, they’re all showing as no pfp. So my question is, is this a glitch on my part or did they remove pfps?
