Why can't I hear game chat or party chat?

So as usual PS support is terrible so i hope you fine folks can help.

Basically I noticed this on Rainbow Six Seige, my mic is greyed out and I can see people talking but I can't hear them. Now, I was going to contact Ubisoft but one of the group members I play R6 with invited me to a party. And just like the game I could see them talking but I can't hear them.

I've had my PS5 for years and I haven't changed any settings and everything use to work fine.
