To anyone who has gotten an ear piercing during the pandemic, has wearing a mask irritated your piercing?

I am dying to get my conch and double flat pierced, but I am weary of the ear piece on face masks possibly irritating the piercing or being a greater risk for infection. If anyone has experience with it being a problem (or not), I'm interested to hear.
