Phish Verizon Theater 10/24/16 and 10/25/16

Why are both shows so bad?

Funnily enough, Night 1 was actually the show that got me into Phish, cause my dad randomly downloaded that particular show on a scetchy website. I still fell in love with the music.

But when someone asks what's the worst Phish show it's always 10/25/16 right after Coventry. And after listening to hundreds of shows I agree that both of them are stinkers. Weak song selection and always staying in type 1 territory. I think night one at least had the killer "I always wanted it this way", which made it more forgettable. But night two was so bad that people remembered it for that sole reason.

Why was the vibe so off on the two nights? Was the entire fall tour like this?
