Mahirap pala ang job hunting, especially if from not so prestigious schools

Currently 3rd yr Mech Eng ako from not so prestigious university sa province, and required OJT namin is june-july.

Simula pa lang january pagka start ng 2nd sem, nag-advice na sakin mga 4th yrs na kapwa officers ko sa org na humanap na raw ng possible companies for OJT namin, since mahirap raw makahanap, kasi we are just from a not so prestigious institution, although still one of the top performing school in terms of board exam performance in engineering, but still compared to the universities sa NCR na mas kilala, syempre mas pipiliin ng mga companies, like mga from big 4 unis.

I just started my internship job hunting, since yung partner companies ng inatitution is puno na ang slot (may mga nauna na), and yung ibang companies na bet ko yung field (manufacturing/ powerplant/petroleum/aerospace) is still not responding sabi ng dept head. So kinakabahan ako, kaya puro ako hanap sa linkedin, indeed, jobstreet. Andaming emails na nagawa ko and naisend, and wala pa nag rereply (kapit lang wala pang 1 week).

Ngayon ko narealize yung weight ng advice ng 4th yrs, mahirap pala talaga... and dahil na rin siguro sa choosy ako sa type of industry, since I plan on choosing that as a career for my whole life, kaya want ko sana dirediretso na yung career path ko, same industry/field and continuously ko nalang iimprove yung related skills...

Nawa'y may mag respond sa emails ko 🤞

EDIT: nahihirapan me mag hanap ng company na inclined sa dream field/industry ko, tho may last resort ako which is DOST offices, since DOST scholar naman ako and nakapag contact na ko, but I'm still trying to explore other options, but if mag respond na sila sa last question ko about sa possible position, and I will be granted the opportunity mag OJT sa planta nila, edi grab ko na, baka rin kunin nila ako after boards hehez
