Looking for a Refillable Ballpoint Pen

Hello good people of Reddit,

I have a Lamy Safari EF, Staedtler Mars 0.7 mm and PaperMate InkJoy 1.0 ballpoint pens as my everyday writing implements.

I want to move away from disposable ballpoint pens and want to carry 3 pens (mechanical pencil, fountain pen and ballpoint pen) so I am covered for all situations.

I am looking for suggestions of refillable ballpoint pens which people have used and know the compatibility of refills.

I quite like the design of the Caran d'Ache 849, however, it uses a propietary refill and not all Parker style refills fit.

I would like to know if there are other pens with similar designs to it which are non proprietaryand are able to acccomodate a lot of standard refills.
