Fake Discounts from Amazon need to be Outlawed
PSA items with discounts on Amazon are misleading and deceptive. I'm sure most of you know this but some might not. Not everyone in the world is really aware of the true value of things beyond the price tag that's presented. I was doing some browsing for NVME drives today and there's no way in hell an mid level 4tb drive retails for $300+. It's worth checking the manufacturers websites to see the real value of products before getting excited about a $100+ discount. In this example, Amazon is selling a Corsair MP600 Core for $250, which is the same price on the offical Corsair website. The only difference is, Amazon is claiming to offer a 34% discount by inflating the MSRP to $380. In reality, its MSRP is $295 and the discount offers 15% off. This isn't some clever marketing trick. It's straight up deception and needs to be outlawed.
