$749 5070 ti cards basically don't exist

I participated in the madness this morning, and as far as I can tell most retailers simply didn't stock MSRP cards. They're basically only available at $749 in the US through Newegg Shuffle or in-person at Microcenter. I wonder if they'll pop up as "in stock" once the overpriced models have shipped to customers, or if board partners have just decided not to make lower margin hardware when people are willing to slap down twice MSRP without hesitation?

I'll admit I was a sucker and paid more than MSRP, but not by much. I just really wanted to upgrade before semiconductor tariffs send the price of these things skyrocketing to truly absurd levels! I'm kicking myself for not buying a 40 series GPU at Black Friday lol!
