Rishta Process Advice?

So I’m 25F going through the rishta process. For us when a guys family is interested they ask to come over and for the first meeting it’s just the women so the guys mom and like khala or sister. If they like the girl then the families meet.

Initially I was like ok it’s just the process but recently been finding the idea of laying myself under the microscope of that first meeting where the guy just gets to sit at home and not have his looks, dressing, talking style, body language, etc scrutinized very unfair

So I have 2 questions

1) Should I tell my fam that’s a trash process and if the moms wanna come they can but they can’t meet me. Esp cuz these ppl have the audacity to announce day of and I have a handful of hours to get oh so dolled up

2) What’s your rishta process like, just wanna compare and perhaps I could give my family some pointers based on it if things could be handled better/more efficiently at any step
