20" x 60" or 24" x 48"

I am limited on space. Torn between 20" x 5 ft or 2' x 4'. I will be doing the Magnoail for sure, and possibly a tight turn unit rack compact. I know a 20" is a bit more shallow for some things, but I feel the 60" gives more visual real estate. Do any of you with experience have thoughts on this?
