Are Entry & Exit Charges in Noida Societies Even Legal?

Hey folks,

I just moved into a fully furnished apartment in a Noida society, and they’re charging me ₹6,000 as an "entry fee." No security deposit, no extra services—just a straight-up charge for moving in.

I’ve heard some societies charge both entry and exit fees, but is this even legal? Where is this money going? Does RERA or any authority regulate this?

Has anyone else faced this? How did you deal with it? Looking for advice before I just accept this as a random "Noida tax."
