Am I the only one who thinks that Zoldat, the adventurer who helped Rudeus at his worst, is the GOAT?

I've seen the anime, and I ventured to read the LN, I'm on Vol 7 and for the moment the anime omitted many details, but what I wanted to talk about is Zoldat, avoiding Rudy's suicide and taking him with him in his most critical moment was the most humane and reasonable option he made, Zoldat did not live with Rudy before and he did not owe him anything to take care of him.
