Do movie theatres have intermissions in your country?

I recently learned that American theatres don’t have intermissions. This surprised me because in my home country of Iceland it’s standard. I mean, who wants to hold in their pee for more than an hour? I always thought movie theatres relied on intermissions so that people would buy more snacks and such. Theatres often make most of their profit from refreshments after all.

Anyway, I was wondering if other countries still have intermissions or if its just some weird Icelandic thing.
