Atypical migraine
Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone relates to my type of migraine… I get auras (ocular migraine I think), and have had 4 or 5 episodes in less than a month… one of the reasons I hate late winter is because these temperatures going from 28 to 44 in a day aren’t good for me. I get the majority of my ocular migraines in the winter. I used to think migraines were just like the really bad headaches people talk about, but have since learned that ocular migraines are still a type of migraine… I do usually get an annoying headache after, but not a 10/10 by any means. I’ve also dealt with chronic migraines for years, so maybe I’ve just become desensitized to the fact that that isn’t normal lol.. I have a new neurology appointment set for early March.. auras suck because things like Triptans don’t do anything, and my headache after isn’t enough to justify wasting a pill on it.
