How Often Are Guests Kicked Out for Noise Violations? (Sheraton Hong Kong TST)
I recently stayed at a Sheraton in Hong Kong. The stay was ruined by obnoxious mainlanders
The room above me had a 4-5 year old "baby" who constantly dropped things and banged on the floor past midnight. We couldn't sleep and it seemed to keep the entire floor awake.
They even parked their baby carriage in the hallway! (here's a video showing how loud it was: https://streamable.com/6fwle0) - the noise level was absolutely insane.
We called front desk, duty manager several times and the noise only got louder, like they were doing it out of spite. They seemed completely unwilling to enforce their own rules on one room for the sake of everyone else. I'm Platinum, lifetime gold and I doubt they were capitulating to the room above us due to status or something
My question is: how often are guests actually removed from a hotel for noise violation and disturbance? What does it actually take at your property? Can you basically do anything short of start a fight at a Marriott Hotel, and still not be removed?
