Something I just learned, after three years of taking Lexapro.

I just learned, you apparently can't eat grapefruit on Lexapro. Supposedly, Grapefruit contains furanocoumarins, which can slow down the liver enzyme, CYP3A4, which plays a huge role in breaking down Lexapro in your body. If the enzyme is inhibited, it can lead to higher amounts of Lexapro in your bloodstream. Has anybody ever heard of this? This is the first I'm hearing of this.
