Gecko not leaving hide

I just recently moved to a bigger tank for my little guy and for the 2 days he hasn't left his cool hide whatsoever. I tried feeding him and he ate one mealworm but only poked his head out. I wonder if it's too open in the tank but he's never had a problem before, I'm just worried something may be wrong!
