Rental deposit
Hi there north east Oklahoma.
I had a 1 year lease end and moved out, the property management company send an email saying they are only going to refund 350 of the 900 dollar deposit. A stipulation was we had to get the carpet cleaned by overnight out. We did so and provide receipt, but they are charging for an additional cleaning. There were other issues that they "fixed", but didn't provide actual receipts.
My question is: can I demand actual receipts from the people they paid to fix or am I stuck losing over $500?
