New lawn mower concern

Hi everyone,

I bought a brand new husqvarna ride on lawn tractor today. It has this bumpy part on it. I pressed It and was soild, and checked the back its soild. Not sure what it is. I wanted to check if anyone knew what this is and if its anything to worry about?

Also where the pant is has a small chip in the orange paint, it's black there underneath. Otherwise It cut the grass nicely, and drove well. I wanted to know if I should exchange or ot will be ok to keep and last. Thank you! I've never owned a lawn tractor before.
